Riffat Ajmal
Riffat Ajmal is a compassionate healthcare professional, community advocate, and founder of Ajmal Dental Care. A graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry, she has devoted more than 26 years to serving individuals and families through exceptional dental care and community service.
Inspired by the values of her late mother, Sahibah Khatoon, she founded Sahibah Khatoon Rahmah Foundation and Khatoon Safe Haven to provide women and children with safety, nurturing support, healing, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
Nighat Ajmal
A Howard University graduate with more than 25 years of experience in dentistry, Nighat Ajmal has served alongside her sister, Riffat Ajmal, at Ajmal Dental Care.
Honoring her late mother, Sahibah Khatoon, and the values and legacy she instilled in her family, Nighat helped establish Khatoon Safe Haven and provides leadership, financial stewardship, and operational guidance so the program can continue growing as a place of safety, healing, dignity, and new beginnings.
Nasreen Rahman
Nasreen Rahman brings more than four decades of service to women, children, and families. Her experience in women’s services, community leadership, public service, and faith-based initiatives strengthens the foundation’s ability to provide compassionate guidance and meaningful support to women rebuilding their lives.
Shehla Mannan
Shehla Mannan is a healthcare professional and community advocate with a medical degree and a Master of Public Health focused on Maternal and Child Health. Through Khatoon Safe Haven, she provides compassionate case-management support, resource coordination, and guidance to help women and families move toward safety, stability, and independence.
